2024 Portuguese American Civic Association Scholarship

UNION, NJ: This year PACA expanded their scholarship program to include trade schools for high school senior students. The Portuguese American Civic Association of Union (PACA) offers two types of scholarships each year, as follows:

College Scholarship: One or two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to a high school senior(s) who will be attending college in September. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in the top third (1/3) of their graduating class at time of application submission. SAT scores will also be considered in the selection process. If there are no eligible applicants, scholarship monies will remain in the Scholarship Fund. Scholarship applications and materials must be post- marked by May 1.

Vocational-Technical /Trade School Scholarship: One or two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to a high schools senior(s) planning to enroll or who are enrolled in an accredited and licensed Vocational Technical or Trade School and are pursuing a Trade Degree. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA in high school and be in the top half (1/2) of their graduating class.
