Newark launches municipal purchasing initiative for qualified small businesses

Mayor Ras J. Baraka, the Newark Municipal Council, and Deputy Mayor of Economic and Housing Development Baye Adofo-Wilson recently announced that the city of Newark is launching a national search for qualified small business enterprises (SBEs) to register with the City of Newark Office of Purchasing to be notified about bid, RFP, and RFQ opportunities.
