Union, NewJersey – Flag-raising ceremony commemorates Portugal Day

Despite the rain, Union Commissioner Sergio Granados had the pleasure of hosting the Annual Portugal Day flag-raising ceremony in partnership with the Portuguese American Civic Association of Union on June 1.

Special guests at the event were Newark Consul-General Pedro Monteiro; PALCUS President Katherine Soares and Union Mayor Manuel Figueiredo plus other officials and participants.
