Two individuals honored by Sport Club Português

Two individuals were honored last Friday, June 24, by the Sport Club Português (SCP) of Newark, NJ, in connection with the club’s centennial (100 years) celebration of its founding in 1921.

Henrequeta Madalena Baptista, from Florida, daughter of Eduardo A. Baptista, one of the founders of SCP and first president (1922) and José A. Santos, former 2 term president (1987 and 1996) for his outstanding service and dedication to the Sport Club Português.
