António Casalinho hailed the ‘Cristiano Ronaldo of ballet’ after winning top prizes in international competition

A 15-year-old Portuguese dancer won top prizes in all contests in which he entered at the Varna International Ballet Competition in Bulgaria that ended on Monday, July 30, prompting his dance school in Leiria to hail him as “the Cristiano Ronaldo of ballet”, in a reference to the world’s top soccer player, who is also Portuguese.
