EAST WARD| Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony  and Coat and Toy Drive, December 4

 

The Ironbound Business Improvement District (IBID) has joined with Councilman Augusto Amador and the city of Newark to present an East Ward Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Monday, December 4, at 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ferry Street, Wilson Avenue and Merchant Street (Five Corners) in the Ironbound District.

The event will feature live entertainment, hot chocolate and cookies and pictures with Santa. Holiday donations of unwrapped new coats and toys for the annual Ironbound Winter Coat and Toy Drive are also being requested. Donations can be dropped off at Ironbound Little City Hall, located at 113 Monroe Street until December 15th.
