Figueira da Foz film festival honors Portuguese director Manoel de Oliveira

The “Figueira Film Art” Festival occurring in Figueira da Foz, in the district of Coimbra, is set to posthumously honor renowned Portuguese director Manoel de Oliveira on September 11th in a day dedicated to memorializing the life and work of the Porto filmmaker who died this past April at 106 years old.
