Kearny, NJ | Independence Day celebrations held at Veteran’s Memorial Field

Last week the Town of Kearny hosted its annual Fourth of July celebration at Veteran’s Memorial Field on Belgrove Drive. Mayor Carol Jean Doyle, Council Member Marytrine De Castro, Councilman Gerald Ficeto, Recreation Commission Chairperson Lyla De Castro Lawdanski, and Recreation Director Ralph Cattafi joined residents for a festive evening.

The Kootz Band and Full Count Big Band entertained the crowd before the dazzling fireworks display lit up the sky.
