Empowering our Youth Summer Employment Program

On June 25, Union County Commissioner Sergio Granados attended the kickoff of Union County’s “Empowering Our Youth Summer Employment Program” that brought together over 85 youth and over 20 work site locations making sure they are providing jobs to youth throughout the county.

This will provide youth with job experience, financial literacy, and job skills training. This program is providing the youth with employment throughout the summer and then it will expand into a year round program for these youth. 

This event has the collaboration of Union County Commissioner Board, Department of Human Services, Division of Youth Services, the American Job Center Team, and the Workforce Development Board.
