New legislation requires that mental health education be integrated in NJ schools



Mental health education will be integrated into health and physical education classes for all K-12 students in New Jersey under legislation signed recently into law by Governor Phil Murphy.

The law requires health education programs in New Jersey schools to include age-appropriate instruction on mental health, including information on substance abuse.
