New organization represents the Portuguese community in Texas

The Texas Portuguese- American Leadership Conference (TXPALC), also known as Texas-Portuguese, announced that it has become the first non-profit organization with a 501c3 IRS Code to officially represent the Portuguese community in the State of Texas.

TXPALC is an independent, non-profit organization with no political affiliations, which aims to empower Texas-Portuguese and Portuguese-American citizens through advocacy, civic engagement, community development, and education.
