NEW YORK – Craig Pinto, from Mineola sets fourth Guinness World Record
Craig Pinto, a Mineola resident has set his fourth Guinness World Record by making 149 field goals in one hour in an effort to raise money for the Celiac Disease Foundation.
Pinto secured his fourth Guinness World Record on Oct. 10, exactly 10 years to the day of his first world record.
Pinto set the Guinness World Record for most field goals in 12 hours in 2010, most field goals in 24 hours in 2011, and most field goals in one minute in 2018. All three events were held to raise money for charities.
Pinto held this year’s successful world record attempt at Hampton Stadium in Mineola, which is the same football field where his father kicked field goals for the Mustangs more than 50 years ago.
Craig Pinto is 42 years old. He is the son of Rosa and Luís Pinto.
