Newark offering lifeguard training classes to persons aged 15 years and older
Mayor Ras J. Baraka and Director of Recreation, Cultural Affairs, and Senior Services Patrick Council remind resident that the city of Newark is offering a series of five-day Lifeguard Training classes, going on now through Saturday, Friday, May 6, at the Sharpe James/Kenneth A. Gibson Aquatic Center, located at 226 Rome Street, in the City’s East Ward. These classes are only open to individuals aged 15 years and older. Space is limited, so early registration is required.
