Portuguese-American Club awards 2022 scholarships

The Portuguese American Club (PAC) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is now accepting applications for its 2022 Scholarship awards.

In order to be considered, applicants must be of Portuguese ancestry, and at least one parent must be a member of the Portuguese-American Club for a minimum of the past five consecutive years.

The applicant must be  a member of the graduating class of 2022 and be awaiting acceptance or already have been accepted as a full-time student to a two or four-college or university or post high school career-oriented educational program. 

The winning applicant will be notified by the Gold Scholarship Committee of the PAC. The winner must be available to accept the $5,000  scholarship in person on July 9 2022 at the banquet following the annual golf tournament. 

The scholarship will be paid directly to the winner upon successful completion of their first semester and must  provide confirmation of enrollment in their second semester.

In order to apply, candidates should send their complete application, essay, two recent photos and current transcript, class schedule, report card to PACGolf [email protected]. Applications may also be sent to 337 Brodhead Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18015. All materials should be submitted by June 22, 2022. Late applications will not be accepted.
