PSEG Foundation grant to help improve living conditions and energy efficiency in low-income homes


Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark recently announced a two-year $300,000 grant from the PSEG Foundation for Habitat’s Critical Repair program that will improve living conditions and enhance the energy efficiency of low-income homes in New Jersey’s Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties. The dollars will be used to fund repairs for low-income families and individuals and extend a longstanding partnership between Habitat of Greater Newark, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities’ (BPU) Comfort Partners Program and Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSEG).
