Public School students and teachers receive free library card from the Newark Public Library



Every Newark Public School Student and Teacher – 45,000 in Total – received free library cards from the Newark Public Library, on Tuesday, September 10.

Students and teachers from Newark Elementary Schools, Schools Superintendent Roger León, Newark Public Library Director Jeffrey Trzeciak and local dignitaries, including Chief Education Officer for the city of Newark Toni Richardson, participated in a ceremony in observance of Library Card Sign-Up Month held at the Newark Public Library (Main Branch), in Newark.
