Summer courses in Lisbon and in the Azores for teachers of Portuguese in the United States

The Luso-American Foundation in partnership with the Government of the Azores – Regional Department for the Communities, the Camões I.P. – Coordination for Portuguese Education in the US and the North American Portuguese Teachers Association, have launched a new program for supporting the promotion of Portuguese language and culture in the US. The third edition of the Summer School in Portugal will take place between 7 and 18 of July 2014 at the University of the Azores with a cost of  $4.000, and between 14 and 25 of July 2014 at the University of Lisbon, for $4,000.
The cost includes tuition, airfare, lodging, lunches on school days and local transportation related to the cultural program.
All selected candidates will receive a scholarship in the amount of $3,000, therefore having to pay $1,000 out of pocket.
