Victor Brandão carried the flag of Portugal on military mission to Afghanistan

He was only four years old in 1996 when the Brandão family established themselves in the state of Connecticut. Today, like so many other immigrants with one foot on each side of the Atlantic, the military man, Victor Brandão, serves his host country but does not forget the land that saw him being born.
