Candy Flores among the 100 most influential in the tech business

The Portuguese entrepreneur born in Madeira Island, Candy Flores has entered the list of the 100 most influential women in the tech world.

It is the first time that a Portuguese woman is included in the ‘Women of the Future’’ ranking.

At the age of 36, the executive president (CEO) of Dimmersions, a company specializing in immersive technologies, “was named among the 100 most promising women in the world in emerging technologies, in the second edition of the international initiative Women Of The Future”.

“I am very honored to be included, worldwide, in this award and being the only Portuguese woman among these incredible other 99 women was not only a great surprise but also the most incredible recognition for the work that my team and I are working on Madalia World, a Web3 project that I want to take much further”, says Candy Flores.

“As a leader and pioneer in the immersive technology space, I am excited to be a part of this project that celebrates the 100 remarkable women who are shaping the world of emerging technologies. Together, we are driving the mass adoption of these transformative technologies around the world, working to create a better future for the next generations”, concludes the entrepreneur.

Created in 2018, Dimmersions is based in Funchal with AR/VR [Augmented Reality/Vir-tual Reality] and Meta-verse solutions for different market sectors.

In 2022, the Madalia World project was launched, which is “the first virtual world in the metaverse, recognized by a government, worldwide”, reads the company statement.
