Cristiano Ronaldo donates jersey to Portuguese Red Cross for charity auction
Portugal international soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo has donated a signed jersey to the youth wing of the Cruz Vermelha, the Portuguese Red Cross, in the city of Braga, for a charity auction.
The item is one of the last Real Madrid jerseys that Ronaldo signed as a player at the Spanish club before transferring to Juventus over the summer.
The charity auction will take place online, on the “eSolidar” platform that raises funds for social causes.
The amount raised from the sale will go to the youth wing of the Cruz Vermelha in Braga, for its day-to-day social work with children, young people and the community’s most vulnerable families.
