Essex County Recycling Day – Household Hazardous Waste
Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr., Essex County Executive, The Essex County Board of Commissioners and the Essex County Utilities Authority annouced that the Essex County recycling day for household hazardous waste will be free to all Essex County residents. Essex County residents must provide proof of residency at the site. This collection will take place Saturday, May 7, 2022 around 8:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m at the Essex County Fleet Management (Public Works) situated on 99 W. Bradford Avenue, Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
“There are some materials that should be removed from our regular waste stream because of their hazardous nature. This collection day provides our residents a place to properly and safely dispose of contaminants, protecting our precious environment for future generations.
