Foreign students from Wharton School of Business visit the Luso-Americano

On Friday, March 28th, a group of foreign students studying Portuguese at the MBA program at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, visited the Portuguese Consulate in Newark, NJ and the facilities of the Luso-Americano newspaper.

Accompanied by their professors, the students—who come from diverse backgrounds, including the U.S., Mexico, Argentina, and other countries—are already fluent in Portuguese. They had the opportunity to learn about the work of Luso-Americano and its importance to the local community.

To further enrich their understanding and connection to Lusophone culture, the students also visited the “press museum” located within the newspaper’s building.
