According to The Associated Press’ annual poll the top news in The United States were the drive by the Democratic-led House of Representatives to impeach President Donald Trump. A year ago, the mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida, — which killed 17 students and staff, and sparked nationwide student-led marches for gun control — was voted the top news story of 2018.
