New Jersey to open outdoor dining, retail shops on June 15 and barbershops on June 22, as tri-state region slowly eases restrictions

As part of his restart and recovery plan, “The Road Back: Restoring Economic Health Through Public Health,” Governor Phil Murphy announced that New Jersey will enter Stage Two on June 15, 2020.

New Jersey is on track to enter phase two of its reopening plan on June 15, allowing restaurants to reopen for outdoor dining and retail shops to wel- come back customers with certain modifications, and hair salons and barbershops to reopen on June 22. Murphy said gyms and fitness centers will then open “very soon” but did not offer a specific timeline.
