Newark asks residents for feedback on policing and public safety in the city

Mayor Ras J. Baraka and Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose announced this week that the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice and the Newark Department of Public Safety’s Police Division’s Independent Monitor will host five community survey events for residents, to enable them to give their opinions and ideas about public safety and policing in Newark, on five upcoming Saturdays.
